Arsenal’s Emirates Stadium is a spectacular venue which has been named Business Venue of the Year at the annual Visit London Awards - an open vote amongst event industry professionals from around London, with Emirates Stadium up against established venues such as ExCel, The Barbican and Earl’s Court.

Away from its matchday schedule, the home of Arsenal has hosted nearly 1,000 business events with a great deal of success. “Our vision has always been that Emirates Stadium would be known for more than just fantastic football. We want it to become a London landmark,” said Managing Director Keith Edelman.

Arsenal has worked hard to reduce the environmental impact of the Emirates Stadium, and through numerous initiatives and investment, CO2 emissions have been reduced by 26% since 2007.

Arsenal is aiming to further reduce its carbon footprint with a programme of improvements in the coming year.  Arsenal has greatly reduced the amount of waste going to landfill, with the Club’s supporters now actively separating recyclable waste on Matchdays. Together with other initiatives, this has lead to over 80% of waste from Emirates Stadium being diverted from landfill.

The Club will continue to actively pursue ways in how to reduce waste and emissions and also seek renewable energy solutions.
